How The Process Works
Our Friendly Team are with you on every step to a more Sustainable Future. Here, we outline how the process works from first contact, through to the commission and installation of the Solar Project.
Step 1 – Visit
One of our knowledgeable teams will come and visit you. This is the perfect opportunity for any queries to be answered, as well as being able to put a face to a name. We will assess the land that you would like to put forward for consideration.
Step 4 – Planning Application
Should both the planning assessment and grid connection costs be favourable, a planning application will be submitted to the Local Planning Authority. Our experienced planners will liaise with the planning officer and where required attend committee consultation events.
Step 2 – Planning Assessment
We undertake a planning assessment on the site in ascertain whether, or not, a planning consent would likely to be forthcoming on a planning application. We take into account various planning designations using specialist mapping software.
Step 3 – Grid Connection
Our Team will assess the costs associated with connecting your Solar Project to the National Grid in order to understand whether there is spare capacity and in turn understand whether it is financially feasible.
Step 5 – Installation
Once planning consent is obtained, the solar panels will be installed in the agreed location. Your annual income will commence.
